Four categories of membership

Student Member

Personal

Available to those currently studying hydrogen energy and/or renewable energy related projects or a related subject and who wish to take part in the HKFCHEA’s activities.

Student membership is open to all undergraduate students in the aforementioned field.

Ordinary Member

Personal

Available to those interested in various aspects of hydrogen energy research and development, either currently learning through practical application or interested in the techniques used in solar energy systems and who wish to take part in the HKFCHEA’s activities.

Regular members shall be scholars or professionals active in the teaching, research or practice of Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy, who have postgraduate academic degrees in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related disciplines.

Fellow Member

Personal

Any individual that makes significant contributions to the HKFCHEA or Society with the approval of chartered engineer and 10 years’ experience in any industry who contributed to the development of fuel cell and hydrogen energy in Hong Kong

Honorary Member

Personal

Any individual that makes significant contributions to the HKFCHEA or hydrogen energy technology development.

With the approval of a two-third majority of Council members, honorary membership, either on annual basis or as a life-long affiliation, can be awarded to people who contributed to the development of fuel cell and hydrogen energy in Hong Kong.

Corporate Member

Company

Any company or organization that expresses an interest in hydrogen energy technology development may apply for corporate membership.

Any scholars or professionals who support the objectives of the Association shall be eligible for associated membership.
